About me

After my first year in England, my English was much better, so I looked for courses in finance. As far back as I can remember, London has always been the capital of financial markets for me along with New York. That's why in 2016 I started a degree in financial markets.
Although I graduated, I wanted to take some time to think about my future. A few days later, I decided to take a risk and travel around the world. I decided on a strategy, I had a goal and over the next eight months, I traveled from country to country, investing in the foreign exchange market to finance my trip. I visited Ireland, England, France, Spain, Canada, the United States and China.
After my trip, I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I returned to London in June 2018. Wealth management and private banking appealed to me because of the implications of understanding and helping people achieve their life goals.

In March 2020 after my separation from Bloomsbury Wealth I started an interview with a new company specializing in wealth management for actors and athletes. In the middle of recruitment, the health crisis came and interrupted my integration into the company. It was therefore decided to postpone my arrival. The first postponement was from March to June, then from June to September, then from September to December, then "sorry we cancelled the new position".
Back in France in 2021, I was in the midst of thinking about the direction I should give my career, after the upheavals caused by the global pandemic and the entry into force of Brexit on December 31. Returning to the city where I grew up, I took the time needed to take a break and mature my professional aspirations. This period of reflection allowed me to realize that wealth and asset management no longer corresponded to my long-term ambitions.
Eager to redefine my professional project, I chose to temporarily move away from my usual environment and moved to Le Mans, in order to refocus on my desires and objectives. Attracted by human interactions and direct contact with customers, I held several positions in the field of reception and service, notably as a receptionist in hotels and private residences. This immersion reminded me of my past experience in London, in a 4-star hotel, where I discovered the excellence and demands of the hotel sector.
Originally from France, I grew up in a village between Angers and Saumur. I graduated in January 2012. After graduating, I found a job in the banking and insurance sector.
During my entire time at the company, I was on a fixed-term contract, so I moved to different cities (15). In June 2015, Crédit Agricole decided not to renew my contract and so I started looking for a new job, but I quickly discovered, that it would require me to speak English.
After some thought, I decided to come to London even though I didn't speak a word of English. Two weeks later, I found a job in a 4-star hotel as a porter. During my time there, it was difficult to appreciate English life between the morning, afternoon and night shifts.

I googled all the private banks and firms in London to visit all the websites in the hope of finding an email address. Once finished I sent 203 personalized emails with my CV, my story and my desire to work in this field. Out of my 203 applications, only 3 answered me, out of the 3 I did 2 interviews to end up with a job offer in one of the firms in the top 25 of the best firms in the United Kingdom.
After a year spent as an assistant Wealth Manager / Investment Manager I started to feel bored. Despite my requests to carry out more complex tasks, my superiors had made me understand that unfortunately it was impossible for the moment or even for the near future. I then started to look for another position that would allow me to satisfy my thirst for learning.

Seduced by the art of service and driven by the desire to offer memorable experiences to customers, I chose to reorient myself towards luxury hotels. This sector fascinates me as much for its demands as for its cultural richness and the opportunity it offers to create unique moments for an international clientele.
With three years of experience in this field, I now wish to return to it with a fresh perspective and renewed motivation. My sense of service, my ability to adapt and my geographical mobility allow me to consider this new step with enthusiasm. Always eager to learn and evolve, I am convinced that joining an establishment would represent an ideal opportunity to use my skills while continuing my development.
